Yes getting into anything for the first time need some greater efforts than anything as you said.Make a new habit is always a tight process for anyone to adopt. 10 days are needed to adopt those practice is fine with your blog.

Improving the mindset is very important when working towards a goal. Personally I feel that meditation is a best way to develop a positive attitude. It has helped me a lot indeed.
